What is SG United?

It is a rallying call to all Singaporeans to work together, and be confident that we will overcome the difficulties since from COVID-19.

  • Increased job opportunities under SGUnited Jobs initiative, that seeks to create more than 40,000 jobs in 2020

  • Increased traineeship positions under the  Traineeships Programme 

  • New Mid-Career Pathways Programme for mid-career individuals

  • New training support under the SGUnited Skills programme

  • SGUnited Jobs and Skills Information Kiosks

Traineeship Program for Students:

If you are a student who has graduated or is graduating in 2019 or 2020 from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Polytechnics or Universities you may wish to apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme. The programme offers traineeship positions with a duration of up to 12 months aimed at helping you to gain industry-relevant skills and build professional networks to boost your employability by the time hiring demand picks up.

Eligibility Criteria

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities of other educational institutions (e.g private/overseas institutions)

Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.

SGUNITED Training Allowance

The monthly training allowance provided to each trainee varies depending on the Traineeship scope and based on the traineeship qualifications appended below.

The Government will co-fund 80% of the training allowance.
