Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) is a national certification system that can train, develop, evaluate and certify the skills and abilities of the workforce. WSQ course is very good solution for learning in Singapore. As a continuing education and training (CET) system, WSQ supports the SkillsFuture movement to:
Promote the recognition of skills and abilities to promote progress, mastery and mobility;
Promote the overall development of the workforce through technology and general skills and abilities;
Support economic development through the professionalization of skills and abilities to promote industry transformation, productivity and innovation efforts; and encourage lifelong learning.
The training plan developed under the WSQ system is based on the skills and abilities confirmed by employers, unions and professional organizations. This process ensures that existing and emerging skills and competencies required for the use of WSQ are used to guide training and development. With the launch of the Skills Framework* in 2016, WSQ adopted the skills and competencies covered in the Skills Framework. The WSQ program is funded by SkillsFuture Singapore and guarantees its quality. The agency awarded WSQ certification.

Competency-based systems designed to develop job role-specific skills and abilities, as well as common skills and abilities required across job roles.
Accessible: No prerequisites for admission are required, and the ability to recognize previous learning experiences, such as work experience and certificates. A bite-sized module can be provided to result in a “declaration of achievement”, which an individual may obtain, thereby obtaining a complete WSQ qualification.
