As Singapore’s healthcare system is stretched hard to ensure that capacity can keep up with demand given an aging population and the prolonged COVID pandemic, it is critical to ensure that the country/industry can tap into a ready pool of trained/equipped healthcare professionals to meet its needs.
The Advanced Diploma in Healthcare Management and Digital Health aims to provide non-healthcare professionals who are interested in a career transition into healthcare to:- Acquire succinct and relevant insights into the world of healthcare management and leadership- Better understand the stakeholders, strategy, culture, structure, system and processes that drive healthcare – Develop key healthcare functional knowledge and competencies- Examine the effects that technology, data analytics, law and insurance have on the future of healthcare, the risks involved and the role of healthcare leadership in a digital era- Network with healthcare sector veterans and leaders- Put into practice what they have learnt via an action learning project
